This Mid-Century Modern credenza has been reimagined into a dramatic statement piece using A1 Decoupage Fiber – Graceful Wings (SKU: 655350672362). The design features ethereal cranes in flight and wading among shadowed waters, layered against a richly textured landscape of deep charcoals, muted golds, and twilight blues. The artwork wraps seamlessly across the drawers and cabinet fronts, creating a continuous, immersive scene that feels both serene and cinematic.

The decoupage was applied using Redesign with Prima Decoupage Gel Matte (SKU: 655350652425), ensuring a smooth, professional finish with a soft, non-reflective sheen. The matte gel allows the intricate details of the fiber paper to blend effortlessly into the surface while preserving the depth and movement within the artwork.

Warm wood tones frame the composition, while bold, modern hardware adds contrast and structure, honoring the clean lines of true Mid-Mod design. Elevated on sleek legs, this credenza balances organic elegance with architectural simplicity, making it ideal as a dining buffet, media console, or statement storage piece.

“The Love Edit” is a deeply personal collaboration with Redesign with Prima, inspired by my heritage, my roots, and the visual language I grew up surrounded by. Each design in this mould collection carries symbols of love, devotion, protection, and ancestry that are inseparable from my culture and identity. I chose to showcase these designs on a tree because, in my culture, love and family come first. They are our roots, our strength, and what connects generations. Like the altar shown here, the tree becomes a living offering, holding hearts, stories, and memories, honoring where we come from and the love we carry forward.

The client’s vision was inspired by an AI-generated interpretation of a Mughal garden lush, architectural, and rich with symbolism.

She asked that the piece feel immersive and storied, blending nature and palace elements, and requested the addition of a tiger to represent strength, protection, and presence within the landscape.

This collaboration allowed the design to evolve into a painted narrative where tradition, imagination, and personal meaning coexist.

A fully immersive piece painted freehand using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and Golden Acrylics, with Redesign with Prima transfers adding rich detail inside the doors. Inspired by Mughal gardens, architecture, and storytelling, this credenza unfolds like a painted journey inside and out.

This Mughal Garden inspired credenza was entirely hand-painted, panel by panel, as a continuous story.

I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, Redesign with Prima Acrylics and Golden Acrylics for depth, vibrancy, and durability, and incorporated Redesign with Prima transfers inside the doors to add unexpected layers of pattern and luxury.

From the lush gardens and architectural details to the hidden jewel-toned interiors, every surface was thoughtfully finished.

This piece is meant to be experienced slowly opened, explored, and lived with where art and function meet in one of a kind form.
