My outdoor cafe set got fun new seats! The old ones were terribly sun faded so I stripped them and was delighted to find the fabric on the inside was still in great shape, so I turned it over and reattached it! Trim back in place and a few new screws and Done! Do your outdoor spaces need a burst of color? You’ll be so happy you did it! ❤️🌹🌸🌼🌺🪻

Next up I’m doing a set of four chairs using this beautiful Katie Kime Metamorphosis butterfly fabric! Metamorphosis definitely speaks to me for 2024! This set is just for fun for my Etsy shop! Do you think I should do the butterflies on the chair back AND seat?? Or should I do the seats in one or all of the gorgeous velvets shown?? What’s your design eye say??

My color loving client and I had great fun putting this design together. We picked the embroidered fabrics, that really fun black and white patterned punch and a gorgeous pink and textured royal blue velvet. Then I made almost 2000 inches of trim in all the fabrics to pull it all together! I love the results and so does my client! This will be a set of eight chairs and I can’t wait to see them in their Kentucky home! ❤️🖤💙🩷🤍

2023 was a tough year for me and mine. I was not sorry to put it behind me and feel hopeful and excited about what 2024 may bring. What’s on your 2024 wish list? For my chair business, I want to keep embracing my love of bright color and continue to play with color and pattern matching. I also want to make things I love which will have me exploring new fabric choices and design ideas. And none of this will be possible without the people that bring me love and inspiration. That includes my wonderful adult kids and their incredible partners, my granddaughter, my incredible sisters and friends, the chair ladies (you know who you are!) Stay tuned for my next set!
