Does anyone have a set of these vigano rear crash bar fixing handles in good shape they would sell? This set works, but has seen much better days. Needed for a preservation project, trying to clean up and re use the existing original accessories that came on the scooter rather than replace with new remade stuff... Please DM me with a price and a photo and thank you.

Very hard to show in photos, But when matching paint samples, they look different in different types of lighting. Inside VS outside, LED lighting VS sodium halide high bays, etc. This is why it is always important to check color matches in the sunlight for best color matching. Ironically diffrent paint companies pigments will also look different even when making the same color from one supplier to the next (PPG VS Prospray VS Glasserit). It is always best to to buff out and polish up an original piece from the scooter you intend to repaint/paint a part for and have that matched or the color made and tinted to match, this way insuring a perfect color match every time! Shown here is an all original paint 1974 150 super undergoing a full preservation here at 2nd Avenue Scooters. All three of the max meyer factory paint cards DO NOT MATCH the paint (allthough hard to see in these photos).

Do you have a Vespa Rally, Sprint, or Super with the autolube option (most USA models)? Can't find the correct oiler gasket, tired of only being able to find the 134914 autolube gaskets for P series and later autolube systems? WELL 2nd Avenue Scooters has you covered as we have had the correct and near impossible to find gaskets re-made! A perfect restoration is only perfect if you clean and rebuild the airbox including the autolube assembly, DM me today if you need one or 100! Doing a preservation on an all original low mileage 150 super, looking for the rear hold down rods for this vigano flat rear carrier. Ive used up my entire stash of em and need a pair. I have the hooks, found in the glovebox, but need the rods. If you have a set and want to sell or trade em, please DM me so I can finish this project and thank you.

spent the last two hours in the shop friday installing the steering column in my SEI GIORNI tribute build and noticed that the base for the A.Rolle speedometer housing/handlebar clamp does not fit over the bearing race allowing the bolt to slip into the recess in the steering column. Are there any of my friends and followers out there familiar with the handlebar widebody bikes that can give me some insight here? Is there a thinner bearing race I do not know about, went through a bin of about 30 of them and nothing seems to fit. Is this casting bent or too small? This is not the original steering clamp, it is a period aftermarket A rolle housing. The scooter is a 1957 VL3 and the steering column is out of a Vespa GS VS4.

FOR SALE 1961 Vespa Allstate split headset - $8500.00. Full nut and bolt restoration to factory specification by the owner Himself with some help and guidence here at the shop. Motor completely rebuilt mechanically and cosmetically here at 2nd avenue scooters and includes full 500 Mile warranty. I will honor warranty with new owner, which includes first service free at 500 miles if local. I did a once over after the restoration was complete to fix anything that was not correct and to make adjustements, tighten things, etc. Scooter was NOT painted or bodyworked here at the shop, but we did repaint the front fender and a few misc. parts. Scooter starts and runs perfectly. Has been displayed at the Tucson Auto Museum since completion and started once a week. Unfortunatly the Auto museum is closing and the scooter will need to come home. Owner is a retired Tuscon resident and has several other Allstate restoration projects in the works and would like to sell this one to fund the completion of another. Please contact me here at the shop if interested and I can get you sellers contact info in tucson. Great scooter for a collection or display! Scooter is NOT concourse quality, but is done to a very high standard IMHO for a home restoration. Thank you.
