The rustic look...
To match some of the customers existing furniture we made this diabolical looking jig to help better replicate a rough-sawn surface. After some stain you can really see the effect.
The jig is pretty self explanatory. Mount an old saw blade onto a make shift swing arm. Secure it along with your board and then slide it down as your marks progress.
