A little something different in the shop today. Still a lot of work to go on this one, but it's starting to come together.

Stay tuned for the finished piece!

A little veneer work in the shop today.

Turning some beautiful knotty white oak veneer into custom doors and drawer fronts. A little prep, some glue, and a trip through the vacuum press.

Can't wait to see these with a finish on them.

Been a little quiet on here — I’ve been busy in the shop.

Prepping the surface of this white oak dining table for its final coat of Rubio Monocoat SheenPlus. The grain is really starting to pop.

One of my favorite details from this custom game table.
The center converts from backgammon to chess/checkers using a mechanism hidden underneath the table.

Follow-up to the sawtooth shelf supports from yesterday — here’s how I made them.
Cut on my Techno Titan CNC, then cleaned up and fitted into the cabinet.

Follow-up from the sawtooth shelf supports I cut on the CNC the other day — here’s how they work once installed.

Simple, adjustable and no shelf-pin holes or hardware.

A little something different from the shop.

Handmade walnut raised dog bowl stand, built with the same attention to detail as my furniture.

I’m thinking about making these available in a few different sizes.

Anyone interested?

Putting the curves on this custom white oak dining table today. A soft, rounded edge brings the whole shape together.

A closer look at the finished spalted maple home office.

The doors and drawer fronts were made from live-edge spalted maple slabs, arranged to create one continuous design across the entire built-in and combined with cloudy epoxy. The matching live-edge desk was made from the same material to tie the room together.

The built-in also includes deep storage drawers, an adjustable floor-to-ceiling cabinet and floating shelves.

Swipe through to see the finished details. The full build and installation Reel is also on my profile.
