Wallace was proud to attend Hall Elementary's Back-to-School Night on September 2! With more than 300 community members in attendance, families enjoyed pizza, free backpacks, activities, and more. Our team was happy to hand out water bottles, hand sanitizer, and pencil bags while connecting with students and families. We are grateful for opportunities like this to support our community and share the resources available through Wallace.

Blood cholesterol is a waxy, fat-like substance made by your liver. Blood cholesterol is essential for good health. Your body needs it to perform important jobs, such as making hormones and digesting fatty foods.
Your body makes all the blood cholesterol it needs. Experts recommend that people eat as little dietary cholesterol as possible.
Dietary cholesterol is found in animal foods, including meat, seafood, poultry, eggs, and dairy products. Learn more about preventing high cholesterol by making healthy eating choices at www.cdc.gov/cholesterol/about/index.html

On Saturday, August 22nd, Wallace participated at the City of Gresham's "Rock the Block", block party. This family-friendly event brought the community together for an evening of fun, entertainment, and valuable resources.
Attendees enjoyed live music, great food, and activities for kids, along with a variety of free services and community support.
Best of all, the event took place right in our front yard at Downtown Rockwood Plaza. Wallace volunteers handed out goodlies, like coloring books, water cups, and bags. We also provided games and toys for the kids to play with!
