So my mommy is visiting me this week and we had us a good chat as always…

I was telling her about all the things going on and about the changes in me and around me. To which she acknowledged and comforted my feels in the moment.
•
A second later she asked me to look over at a sign (next slide) and we both grinned. I said ma, I have been over here several times and have not noticed that sign. And she replied…”it’s because you haven’t been with the right ppl that’ll point it out”.🥹
•
Listen here…you really have to watch the company you keep because they can either into your situation or block you from seeing the very sign you need to elevate. Whew.
•

Need an activity for your & this summer?

Get them to what their next school year will look like by following a few key steps..
•
First: Brainstorm…let them take a minute to think 💭 and ask themselves questions about what the next grade will look like.

Next: Grab your materials…magazines they like and others that may inspire them, some glue, scissors and a big piece of paper. Jazz it up with paint, markers & fun 3D elements.

Then: Have them flip through the mags finding pictures to illustrate their brainstorming.

Finally: Put it all together on the board, glue it in place, grab a frame and let them put their on the wall.

The goal is to follow the 5Ps like my mama says “properly prepare in order to prevent a poor performance”. Tell they have to see it to believe it🩷🎨 & enjoy!

Wellness Wednesday was a phenomenal way to kickoff Mental Health Awareness month.🎨💗

Wow, this wasn’t the first but it was a good one for sure. Knee deep in snow, traveling from NY to MD with my family in tow. My girl and I had a vision and executed in spite of the weather.

We put on a full event with speakers, vendors, and a whole vision board & paint party. We were firm on bringing everything together in the name of sisterhood and we did.
•
Every year since, I have continued to bring the to my community and this year won’t be different. Save the date of 1/27🩷 Tickets go on sale FRIDAY!!!

✨Hey December!✨
Wow, it’s already the last month of another wonderful year and I am THANKFULL, GRATEFULL & BLESSED.
•
To say God continues to show up for me is like saying my name at this point. Because babyyyy, God keeps showing UP, OKAY. There have been more events than I could keep up with posting but that’s a fantastic problem to have. Nonetheless I will share all before the year closes to prepare myself for what’s to come. Amen.
•
Two highlights I’d like to share is that
•The business has heavily transitioned into hosting and we’re about to ramp up in 2024🥂you hear me.
AND…
•I’m a teaching Artist for Vassars community partnership program with Poughkeepsie schools called 🤩 I mean…yall just don’t know about favor.
•
Seriously though, I’m always amazed at the signs and wonders that’s around me. I’m never scared though because In some way, I know I’m prepared for this time. Somewhere along the way, someone was praying harder than me and I’m just living out what they asked God for!
•
Sitting here by this waterfall; hearing the calm and rapidity of the water is grounding and sets the tone for where I’m going. I hope you continue on for the ride!🥂🎨🩷✨

And we’re back…a little time away never hurt anybody!
