Another mattress recall, and another reminder that the cheapest price online doesn’t always tell the whole story.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says mattresses sold on Amazon were recalled because they failed federal fire-safety standards. That’s a serious issue for something you and your family sleep on every night.
I’m a big believer in shopping local and considering American-made mattresses. Walk into a store. Lie on the bed. Ask what’s inside it, where it was made, what testing or certifications it has, and who will help you if there’s a problem. You deserve real answers before you buy.
Amazon and Wayfair can make a low price look tempting, but a mattress is too important to choose by price and star rating alone. Know what you’re bringing into your home.
Support local businesses. Ask better questions. Sleep better.
CHECK YOUR MATTRESS: More than 48,000 mattresses sold on Amazon don't meet mandatory flammability standards, posing a risk of serious injury or death from a fire.
