The Shay Table is finally done! Two massive walnut slabs, 11 gallons of black epoxy, two hand carved pedestal bases, and many hours later here’s the outcome.

This top was finished with a hard wax oil and then a ceramic top coat for extreme water proofing and top notch protection. After that you put natural light on it and this is the result!

I made my friend a free entertainment stand! (And I told him if this video gets 10,000 views I’m making him a coffee table too!) Dan DeHaven is always coming to help me in the shop and refuses payment. But recently he mentioned that he still doesn’t have anything I’ve made and when he mentioned getting an entertainment stand for his new apartment I told him to hold off! Let me know what you think of our choice of finish on this one!

This river table is finally done! I just need to get the ceramic coat on. What do you think of this beveled profile?! Personally I love it. The final reveal with the dual pedestal bases of solid walnut coming soon.
