We just finished this custom cherry dining table that has several details I really like: the cove detail on the legs, the bead on the lower edge of the apron, and the breadboard ends on the top. It's an unusual size - 52" x 38" but it should be perfect for seating 4-6 comfortably.

I've been working on 4 Mission style side tables lately which require a lot of precision joinery. Each of these tables has 54 mortise and joints. I've put about 75 hours into these tables so far and still have to make the dovetailed drawers.

I've been working on a pair of large cherry bookcases this week. They are 7' tall x 6' wide and I found the easiest way to work on the top molding was to stand on my workbench.
The backs will be frame and panel construction (like a paneled door), which requires a lot lumber. Each panel is about 14" wide x 78" long. By the end of the day Friday I had finish on the cases and lumber for the panels glued up and stickered.

I took advantage of a rare day I was alone in the shop to shoot a video of everything we are currently working on.

The first coat of finish on a dyed curly maple pencil post bed. The dye really helps the figure in the maple stand out.

We just finished up this 8 foot long maple drop leaf table. It's only 18" wide with the leaves down but 41" wide with both leaves up. It's finished with Vermont Natural Coats polywhey non-yellowing finish, which leaves the maple as close to its natural unfinished color as possible.
