Commercial lounge seating, finished as a team. 🛋️
We reupholstered and built the cushions for this waiting area. The carpenter handled the woodwork. The interior decorator coordinated the full space.
This is the kind of collaboration we do regularly: we partner with carpenters and interior designers on commercial projects so every detail fits the design.
Offices, hotels, clinics, waiting rooms — if the project needs custom upholstery, we can work with your team.

This dental chair got a complete refresh in a calm, modern sage green, and it now feels as clean and professional as the care that happens in it.
Medical upholstery is detail work. The vinyl has to wrap tight around every curve of the headrest, backrest, and leg section, with no wrinkles and no gaps where dirt can hide. Seams have to sit right so the surface wipes down quickly between patients. The padding has to support someone through a long procedure and still keep its shape after thousands of appointments. And the material has to stand up to daily disinfecting without cracking or fading.
That’s why we use commercial-grade vinyl like Olympus, rated for 1.8 million double rubs and available in many colors, so your operatory can match your brand instead of a catalog.
The best part: you don’t have to buy a new chair. Your equipment keeps working, your budget stays intact, and our team plans the work around your patient schedule so your practice never misses a day.
ABZ Custom Upholstery. 20+ years of experience. 5 stars on Google. Trusted by Raleigh clinics, dental offices, and medical practices. 💚

Built-in seating never forgives a guess. Every cushion has to be cut to the exact length of its bay, so the seams line up and the row reads as one clean line across the wall. The foam has to be firm enough to hold its shape after thousands of guests, yet soft enough that people want to stay a little longer.

The stripes on the back cushions have to run straight from one end to the other. And the straps have to look effortless while holding real weight, so each cushion hangs at the same height, every time.
None of that shows when it’s done right. What shows is the room you imagined.

That’s what we do at ABZ Custom Upholstery. For more than 20 years, we’ve turned designers’ drawings into seating that fits the space, matches the vision, and stands up to commercial use. You design it. We build it to the inch. 📐

Designers, send us your drawings, measurements, or a photo of the space at [email protected], or call 919-858-6473 for a free estimate. Let’s build your next project together.

🪑 Exam tables work harder than most furniture in the practice.
Cracked vinyl, worn padding, and stained covers affect patient comfort, infection control, and the look of your rooms. Reupholstering keeps the chair you already own, restores the surface, and matches the color you need.
Olympus commercial vinyl. Built for daily cleaning. We work around your hours.

🪑 Keep the frames. Change the look.
Your seats are five years in — or more. A remodel does not have to mean new furniture.

Reupholstery costs less than replacing every booth and chair. You pick the color to match the new decor. Torn vinyl and worn seats can cost you points on a health inspection. We fix that.

Commercial-grade vinyl. Built to take a shift. A trained team. We work around your hours so service does not stop.
