2016….I finally caved. And so glad I did. Time is a thief and scrolling back through all these photos reminded me why I will always prioritize family over work, summers at the beach, and living in the moment. The work stuff always works out, but we do not get this time back with our babies!! We welcomed our first baby boy in January and orbiting around this happy little squish summarized the year.
Also realizing that in the past decade not so much has changed, short of wrinkles and gray hairs! I was 2 years into the historic building I bought and renovated for MA Allen Interiors, where we still operate today. It was all about work-life balance. I went to Manhattan once a quarter. I spent the whole summer in our happy place, Atlantic Beach. And apparently my love for Dries Van Noten had already started. And letting these kids be the center of the universe for us, only now we have double the amount.
