Wood furniture can appear different due to natural variations in grain patterns, density, and the balance of sapwood and heartwood, which affect how stain is absorbed. These variations are a natural part of wood’s unique beauty, adding character to each piece. Please also keep in mind that “our photographs” in this post are taken in our workshop which has an abundance of natural sunlight.

AVAILABLE NOW! A bookcase should do more than hold objects. It should give the room architecture.
At 89 inches tall and only 39 inches wide, the Dunehaven Bamboo Bookcase uses vertical space to create an impressive display without requiring a large wall. Its peaked crown, turned finials, layered faux-bamboo trim, and geometric detailing give the narrow silhouette the presence of a much larger piece. Crafted from mahogany solids with mango wood veneers, the warm Beachwood finish highlights the natural grain and gives the bookcase the character of something collected over time. A full-length glass door protects books, glassware, and treasured objects while keeping them visible. Three adjustable interior shelves provide generous display space, and a lower drawer keeps smaller essentials concealed. Use it in a living room for books and collections, in a dining room for glassware and serving pieces, or as a striking linen cabinet in a bedroom or hallway.
What will you display behind the glass? Follow along for more distinctive furniture, beautiful storage ideas, and pieces designed to make use of every inch. DM us, hit the shop button, or visit our website to purchase.

AVAILABLE NOW! A coordinated bedroom works best when the connection comes from a distinctive detail—not simply matching color.
The Chelsea collection repeats its faux-bamboo framework across three pieces, giving the room a clear point of view while allowing each silhouette to contribute something different. The king bed creates the focal point with an open lattice headboard, sweeping curves, tall finials, and bamboo-inspired rails. Because the fretwork remains visually open, the substantial bed adds architecture without making the room feel heavy. A pair of Chelsea Nightstands completes the arrangement with balanced proportions and generous bedside storage. Each one features three drawers, tapered legs, faux-bamboo framing, carved fretwork, and warm brass hardware.
Crafted from solid mahogany, the bed is shown in Matte Teak and the coordinating nightstands in Teak—rich finishes that highlight the construction and bring warmth to traditional, coastal, and layered transitional bedrooms.
Matching dresser also available to order. Follow along for more distinctive furniture, thoughtful bedroom combinations, and pieces designed to make a room feel complete. DM us, hit the shop button, or visit our website to purchase.

Now ON SALE! A traditional dresser becomes far more memorable in the right color.
Professionally lacquered in a custom muted blue with soft gray undertones, this vintage Ethan Allen dresser highlights its French Provincial–inspired silhouette, framed drawer fronts, curved apron, carved shell detail, and graceful cabriole legs. The original curved bail pulls and floral rosette backplates were freshly painted in warm gold, creating an elegant contrast against the blue finish. Nine drawers provide generous storage for a bedroom, but its 66-inch width also makes it a beautiful dining room sideboard, living room console, or statement piece beneath a television.
Where and how would you use it? Follow along for more vintage transformations and furniture details worth noticing. DM us, hit the shop button, or visit our website to purchase.

AVAILABLE NOW! At only 27 inches wide, this gorgeous vintage Thomasville Allegro lingerie chest uses its height to provide seven drawers of organized storage without taking over the room. Its narrow footprint fits beautifully beside a dresser, between two windows, in a dressing room, or anywhere a full-size chest would feel too large. The Allegro collection’s faux-bamboo framework, bamboo-trimmed drawer fronts, slender legs, and delicate lower stretchers give the tall silhouette an airy, collected character. We professionally lacquered the chest in a custom light green that allows every bamboo detail to remain visible, then added new brass bamboo-form handles for a warm finishing contrast.
Use the drawers for lingerie, jewelry, accessories, folded clothing, linens, or all the smaller things that never seem to have a proper place.
