Originally opened in 1955, the Dock 1053 space was a regional distribution facility for the Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P Grogery). Later, the building was used by Winn-Dixie.

Today, it's a place where Raleigh's culture thrives, honoring our past while supporting the future.

We loved celebrating the grand reopening of TRIG Modern and getting a first look at their newly expanded showroom here at Dock 1053.

From thoughtful design to the makers and neighbors who bring it all to life, the evening was a reminder of what makes Raleigh’s creative community so special.
