☘️ Brunch date at Paddy O'Neill's Rapid City ! ❤️

This one is kind of a sentimental favorite for us… because five years ago, Kimberly actually went into labor with our fourth child while we were here! 😂

Apparently nothing says romantic date spot quite like, “Remember that time we ate here and then had a baby?” 🤣❤️

Thankfully, today’s brunch was a little less eventful! Just the two of us, really yummy food, and some time together at one of our favorite local Rapid City spots. 🥰

We love using our dates as an excuse to visit and support other local businesses around town. There are so many great places right here in Rapid City—and Paddy O’Neill’s will always have a particularly memorable place in our family story. 😂☘️

Five years later, we’re still coming back… just preferably without the labor part. 🤣

🍂 Fall in the Black Hills! 🍁

Is it even fall in western South Dakota if you don’t make at least one trip out to Spearfish Canyon? 😂❤️

We took the family out for a hike and soaked up all those gorgeous fall colors while we still can. There’s just something about the canyon this time of year—the cool air, the leaves, the views… it’s one of our favorite things about living here. 🥰

We love getting to share little pieces of our family life on this page because, behind Mattress By Appointment Rapid City, we really are just a local family living, working, raising our kids, and enjoying this beautiful corner of South Dakota right alongside all of you. ❤️
