Introducing the new Respite™ Recliner.
Unlike traditional recliners, the new Respite™ Recliner features fully concealed mechanisms to help mitigate tampering opportunities and reduce ligature risk. ✅. This innovative design supports a safer environment for both patients and staff without sacrificing comfort or functionality.

Designed for extended use, the Respite™ Recliner provides supportive seating for up to 23 hours of continuous occupancy. It utilizes familiar, soft-touch materials to help create a more comfortable experience for patients while promoting a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels less institutional and more residential.

In addition to its patient-centered benefits, the Respite™ Recliner was engineered with facility operations in mind. Its dimensions allow it to easily fit through standard door frames, simplifying installation, room transitions, and facility renovations.

Sensory-informed design considers how elements like color, texture, lighting, sound, and movement impact emotional and physical well-being within a space. By creating environments that reduce stress, support focus, and encourage comfort, sensory-informed design helps people feel safer, calmer, and more connected to their surroundings.

Going back to the ‘80’s for this one. 😮 What year did these events happen: Back to the Future, starring Michael J. Fox, became the highest-grossing film of the year. ⚡️💰 USA for Africa: “We Are the World,” a star-studded charity song written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie dominated the airwaves. 🎶 New Coke, considered one of the biggest marketing blunders of all time, hit the market. 🤯 . . . . . . . .
Was it:
1985
1986
1989
❓❓❓❓❓

You are AWESOME and totally rad if you guessed 1985! 🎉 Fun Fact- New Coke was such a bad decision that it was pulled from the shelves just 79 DAYS later. Happy Friday!
