September 10th will always be a special day for our family.

Today, we celebrate what would have been our Papa, Raymond Fell Jr.’s, 103rd birthday. We also celebrate 65 years since he opened the doors of Furniture City.

What began with a dream 65 years ago has grown into something so much bigger than a furniture store. It became a family, a legacy, and a place where generations of families in our community have found a little something to make their house feel like home.

We’re incredibly thankful for the 65 years we’ve been blessed to serve this community—and even more thankful for the man who started it all.

Happy heavenly birthday, Papa.
And happy 65th anniversary to Furniture City. ❤️

We’re proud to carry it forward.
