Uncle Mel's Cookin'

This is the third, and largest harvesting so far, from the Chef Jeff's Garden Scotch Bonnet plants from Green Acre Farm & Nursery. Freezing these babies for hot sauces, dried, ground, etc. 😉

Chicken drums seasoned with my CAJUN OBSESSION Blend, cooked over hardwood lump charcoal, and glazed with homemade BBQ sauce. The incredible sweet corn from our Sunscape Farms CSA ½ Share, and Cajun beans made great sides for this summer meal! 😉

I'm so psyched for my first tasting at Schutt's, this Sunday the 13th! 🍎

Havin' some family time tonight, but while the wings do their thing over the charcoal, I'm reflecting on the day. And I'm moved to send a huge, public thank you to my retail partner, Costanza Sausage, for hosting my CHILI CHAMP Sampling today. I couldn't ask for better people to work with. We've only been doing business since April, but I feel very welcome there. I can't wait to see what collaborations we might have in store! 😉
