How many bags does an interior designer need?!

The limit does not exist. 😂

The “just in case” work bag – Because apparently we think we might have a spare 20 minutes to get some work done at home.

The wardrobe change bag – Because a dusty construction site and a client meeting require two VERY different outfits.

The actual purse – You know, for normal human things.

The appointment bag – Laptop, binders, paperwork, tape measure, markers, scale… basically a mobile design office.

The sample bags – Countertops, tile, flooring, fabrics… and occasionally enough weight to qualify as a workout.

And somehow, despite bringing half our office with us, we’re STILL running back to the car for something.

Day 1 of IDS National Conference in Vegas

We’re kicked off the event with drinks, Vegas views, ping pong, and some of our favorite people.

This is hands down one of our favorite events of the year. There’s just something about getting a bunch of designers and trade professionals in one place, sharing ideas, discovering what’s new products, making connections, and learning from some of the best in the industry.

Because staying inspired and continuing to grow is part of the job… the cocktails and ping pong are just a bonus. 😉

Real life staging day…

One minute we’re installing cabinetry.
The next we’re running through Wegmans debating which flowers look best and whether these are the right cookies. 😂

The details matter. It’s those final layers that bring a home to life, and honestly… reveal days are our favorite days. 🤍

Clear counters are great… but let’s not confuse “empty” with “finished.” 😉

Imagine a kitchen with nothing but cabinets, countertops, and appliances. Functional? Sure. Memorable? Not a chance.
