Incredible work from our designer, Kayla! 🤍

In this kitchen transformation, Kayla demonstrated what true design expertise can do. Instead of starting from scratch with new appliances, she intelligently re-engineered the layout around the home's existing refrigerator, stove, microwave, and beverage cooler—creating a seamless, effortless flow for a busy family.

For the design, soft ivory Marquis Fine Cabinetry runs along the perimeter, beautifully anchored by a warm taupe island. Down below, old tile was swapped out for Tuscan Hickory Toscana Hardwood, bringing instant warmth and character across the entire space.

Exceptional craftsmanship by Whitacre Custom Building brought Kayla's vision to life flawlessly. The result is a welcoming space built for family meals, grand-kids pulling up a stool, and everyday living! ✨

We are excited to have played a role in the spectacular construction of the newest branch of the Rockford Public Library, alongside the skilled team at Premier Woodwork Inc.!

Contributing to such an important community space was truly a pleasure. Benson Stone Company was happy to add beautiful quartz countertops by MSI throughout the library, enhancing the building’s program, craft, and youth spaces.

This Library is filled with cozy nooks perfect for curling up with a good book or getting some work done in a serene environment. One of our favorite spots is the stunning two-way fireplace, also provided by us here at Benson Stone Company. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and take in the gorgeous views of the river and our wonderful community.

With a vast collection of media across every genre and some of the most knowledgeable librarians around, the Rockford Public Library is a true gem in our community. We’re incredibly proud to have been a part of this project, helping to create a welcoming public space that our community can enjoy for years to come.

Just beautiful! 🤩 Our designer Kayla and fireplace specialist Jonathan teamed up to create this modern rustic fireplace.

By pairing MSI’s stacked Silver Travertine stone with a custom Indiana limestone hearth, the space gets a luminous, modern edge rooted in timeless, natural texture. To top it off, a new high-efficiency gas log set makes gathering around the hearth extra cozy and effortless.

Swipe over to check out the before shot to see just how dramatic this transformation really is!

Incredible collaboration by Kayla, Jonathan, and our fireplace install team!

A morning coffee spot doesn't get much better than this! ☕️

When looking for the perfect seating to complement this view, our furniture designer Robert knew custom was the way to go. He curated these gorgeous Sherrill Furniture chairs, blending warm walnut frames with a subtle sage leather that feels both elevated and super inviting.

Robert’s eye for detail really brought this entire corner to life! Great job!

When a family trusts us for their kitchen and returns for their bathroom remodels, it's the ultimate compliment! 🤍

For these two rooms, our designer Jessica blended rich textures and thoughtful details to give each shower its own distinct personality. The custom tile work—brought to life by our expert tile installers—adds depth, dimension, and timeless beauty to both rooms.

🚿 First Up: The primary bath featuring bright white walls, soft neutral tones, and an abundance of natural light.

🚿 Second Up: The hall bath featuring a rich peacock blue backdrop, contrasting tile, and a double vanity designed for everyday function.

Bravo Jessica! 💕

It's our anniversary! ❤️ We're celebrating 96 years in Rockford.

Back in 1930, right at the start of the Great Depression, Martin O. Benson and his son M. Howard opened a small stone-cutting shop with a simple belief that delivering quality craftsmanship at a fair price would earn lasting loyalty. ⚒️

Ninety-six years and five generations later, the Benson family proudly follows the same time-honored values. What began as a modest stone cutting shop has grown through the years into an iconic home design destination. But no matter how much the showroom has expanded, those core values haven't changed a bit.

To every neighbor, customer, and friend who has welcomed Benson Stone into your home for nearly a century, thank you. Here’s to many more years of serving this community and to beautiful, well-made homes! 🥂

We were so honored when Mary's Market reached out to us about replacing the fireplace at their Perryville location! A cozy fireplace in a warm cafe is such a necessity, so our team acted quickly to get this project wrapped up for them.

Now when you walk in, you're greeted by the alluring smell of freshly brewed coffee and a gorgeous new Kingsman Fireplaces fireplace to cozy up next to. ☕️🔥

Our fireplace team did a fabulous job! Thank you to Mary's Market for trusting us with such a special project—it turned out stunning!

Introducing the perfect rustic farmhouse kitchen, created by our talented kitchen and bath designer, Erin! 🌾

From the weathered charcoal cabinets and barnwood siding to the farmhouse-style sink, every detail harmonizes to give this home a timeless country charm. The white perimeter cabinets brighten the room, and keep it feeling spacious and elegant. And how about those awesome antique-look tractor seat bar stools? So charming!

Huge shoutout to Erin for this exceptionally cozy design – the very best example of the modern midwestern farmhouse look.
