Fun finds Friday!👻🎃

10/16/2026

Guess what day it is!! F.F. Friday (Fun Finds that is!) I've been posting fun finds since June and it would be great if you'd throw a thumbs up👍👍 in the comments to let me know if I should keep on posting.
Today's fun finds:
1. Pot pies- easy version! These delicious pot pies are available in the cafe at Maker's Exchange. They are locally made and we love them for a quick meal. Sorry, bad pics but we have had the chicken several times and I just picked up a beef which I have on good authority is the most popular.
2. We've been looking for a good series to watch and have been failing. But. . . we tried Below on Netflix this week. It is a Canadian thriller miniseries about a Newfoundland fishing town terrorized by a mysterious sea creature. Okay, maybe this isn't for everyone but it has kept us engaged. 🐙
Have a great week-end everyone!

🎉 Fun Finds Friday! 🎉
I've got a few favorites to share this week!

1. 🍎 Apple Crisp Season is Here. Nothing says cozy quite like homemade apple crisp. I recently baked some using my grandma's recipe. Simple? Yes. Pretty? Not really. But it is the only apple crisp I eat! Scroll to the bottom for the recipe- I promise, you'll love it.

2. 🧺 Crae Kitchen Towels. Can we talk about how cute AND practical these are? They're double-sided, which makes them twice as fun. Think Geometry, but with design on both sides. I found mine at one of the booths at Maker's Exchange. I LOVE it and will definitely be getting more.

3.📚 On My Reading List (not a find but a "search"). I'm eyeing The Third Son and wondering if any fellow readers have picked it up yet. Is it worth moving to the top of my TBR pile? No spoilers, please! 😊

Now tell me: ✨ What is your favorite fall recipe? ✨ And, have you read The Third Son?

Grandma's Apple Crisp: Butter a 9x13 pan and fill with 8 cups of apples. Sprinkle wiht 1 C. sugar mixed wiht 1 tbsp flour and 1 tsp cinnamon. Blend 2 C. flour, 1 C sugar, 1 C softened margarine until crumbly Spread over apple mix. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
