We were approached by the Crocker Art Museum last year about creating a seating area inspired by Gladys Nilsson’s actual living room in her River Park home during her time here in Sacramento from the mid 1960s to the late 1970s. It was such a privilege to go through photos of her home during that time and talk with her about her furnishings and what she was drawn to design-wise. We loved getting to choose the furniture pieces, textiles, and accessories to welcome guests to the exhibition. The show ends November 29th. Don’t miss it!
