Who, Why....DREAM?

I plan on expanding this section soon, but as for now ... the quick version of answering my those questions...

WHO ARE WE?

I am Carli. I am a 35 year old mom of 3 AMAZING BOYS! I have been homeless almost 3 years and literally kills me each day that continues to pass. I was born and raised in Grass Valley, CA. I married my high school sweetheart and spent my adult life in Lincoln, CA. We were together from the age 17 to 31. I have a degree in business and photography, ran my families coffee shop for multiple years but spent most of my adult life as a stay at home mom. I discovered during my stay out here in downtown sac that I can do anything, be anything and achieve anything that I want and with a increasing boredom in my coloring of the store bought coloring books I decided to make my own, and turns out I enjoy it so much and some people say I have talent.

I have a Dog, who is my other 1/2 in everything I do, her name is Molly and she is a Rottweiler chihuahua poodle and I have had her since she was a few weeks old. she is 2.5 years old and is literally the biggest trooper. She goes when I go and sleeps when I sleep and tends to be a bit moody. However although she is completely trained...she literally chooses to listen or not and can some time seem to be a CAPITAL B... She is ALL bark, and NO bite.

My human other half is Kadeen. He is Often seen coloring with me and is the ONLY reason Why I am striving to achieve my dreams through coloring. He motivates me to go get it and not let anything hold me back, he even test me with his own quizzes of holding me back to make sure I keep pushing, and I do. We have been together going on 2 years and I am looking forward to an eternity with him. Dont let him fool you though, he too multi talented... he is an amazing artist, a original jewelry maker, a walking youtube of lyrics to almost every song, and a stand up picture of a MAN as they SHOULD be in today's society.

WHY ARE WE HOMELESS?

My X husband had an affair on me after 13 years together, and 3 boys. During the divorce, no matter the efforts to keep things cordial, it got nasty. I was a stay at home mom, who now had a 10k bill for a lawyer. I stopped paying my rent to pay the lawyer to save my kids custody. I won in court, but lost in life.... I was evicted and had no home to care for my children. I have been struggling to get back on my feet since. I still have my 50% custody and see my kids but they stay full time with their dad.

THE BIG DREAM?

after my divorce I was entitled to 50% of the retirement my x husband made during our married year. I was out here waiting 2 years for that check to change my life. It wasnt much...just 8k... but It was going to get my life back to normal. I had it all planned out to buy a small mobile home by putting some $ down on it, getting a little be**er vehicle but would have to be reliable and spending the rest on my kids to get their mom back. However that was not allowed. The entire 8k was robbed off of me in less than a day and my dream was slaughtered. It took awhile to get over that but with KaDeens support I am sure we will conquer anything, and we are trying. We plan on using this art to self publish a coloring book, put 50% of all the income we generate away to save and get that 8k back. I dont want anything else more in the world but my mobile home a reliable car, my boys, dog and my man. I WONT stop til its achieved....
