Finally finished the vintage dresser I picked up like 3 months ago! It was a lot of work but I’m hoping it’ll find its forever home.
Used the new color of the year BEHR Hidden Gem paint and stained the wood with a dark walnut, I love this contrasting birdie drawer liner I found on Amazon, I think it really makes the colors pop!
This piece is in amazing shape for its age and it needed to be completely sanded down to raw wood to get the look I was going for, I like to do a paint and wood stain contrast, really showcases that vintage charm .
I kept the original handles which I stained in a dark walnut to bring out the blue green hues of this beautiful calming color.
It’s a one of a kind piece to bring some hidden gem kinda vibe to any space .
It’s a labor of love for sure 🩵

I picked up the old vintage dresser for 30 bucks and completely refinished it top to bottom. It’s finished now but it’s been sitting in my storage closet for weeks! Anyone else do this ? My furniture just isn’t selling lately and I don’t have the inspiration to stage and put it up for sale !
I’ll post updated pics when I get myself to finally get it out and showcase it! I think it came out really nice , it was so much work but surely a labor of love. ❤️
