My Big and beautiful wood
That rippling effect next to the knot is absolutely crazy.
Isn’t nature so cool?

Cedar top and poplar bottom, they look so good together!
My first time working with poplar and I’m ecstatic about the results.

Did you know poplar is technically a hardwood but it’s pretty soft?
Hardwood and softwood are just classifications of species of trees, usually referring to there leaf shape, if they lose their leaves, and how fast they grow.
Not actually the density of the wood!

Since it’s finally been opened I wanted to share these cute little wood blocks I made for my nephew!

Pine with wood burn engravings for the numbers and shapes.
All food grade so that little guy can teeth his little heart out.

No reason to cry over broken wood

I was really excited about this piece. I went a little too far with the sanding and busted right through. I was a bit upset but it allowed me to step back and take things slower.

My wood’s got a mind of its own, you could even say it’s got a head of its own.

Tried a new wax with this piece and loving the outcome. Oil and waxed up wood!

It Brings different density’s when turning but the colors are eye catching!
