Today in the shop # 19: Bugs! In my 30+ years in the wood industry I have dealt with wood eating bugs. It can be very scary when someone realizes they have wood eating bugs in their new home. I try to be as empathetic as possible in these situations as people don't want to hear excuses or long winded explanations. I offered multiple remedies, including replacing the bar top. In less than an hour from the time I showed up to look at the issue we broke out the tools and removed the bar top.
