Special Christmas delivery today for a client who wanted a seaside cottage themed beverage table for her patio. A very unique design, on this 'living' table she will experiment with different colored sands and shells to get the final look she wants. Follow up pictures to come! I've always loved the steampunk style and industrial looking designs. This 30" tall by 42" wide indoor / outdoor table hopefully captures that. Made from 1/4" plate steel, this durable design will last for decades. Check out the whole photo album if you're interested and, as always, thanks for supporting my work.

My latest creation is a corner shelving unit and spice rack. I wanted to create a unique and space efficient design while incorporating natural elements. This was what I came up with....

When last I left things, I had cut open a propane tank with the intent of using the ends to make fire pits. The fire pit designs are coming (and they are going to be cool) but in the meantime I wanted to make creative use of the tank cylinder itself. I was asked to create a front porch firewood storage design that complimented the color scheme of the house. Using native stones called concretions as accent pieces, these bookend firewood holders were the design I came up with.

Everything does come full circle it seems. The first project I ever built, a fire bowl, was made from the cap end of a propane tank.

I never felt a joy like the one I experienced when I had a space to work with metal and I have never endured a pain quite like the one I felt when I lost it all. The first year away from building and creating, everything went dark and I grieved. The second year, part of me wanted to create again but I had no confidence and no heart... only pain and fear.
For those who would read this and support and encourage me once again.... thank you.
New things are coming. It's time.
