Spent a good deal of time planning this one out and cutting all the grooves for the records to sit in on the top row. I always appreciate a patient client who understands the meticulous process of custom woodworking. This was an awesome brainstorming process to understand their space, need, and design vision. The ex*****on and daily use now is pure stoke.

Fireplace mantle upgrade and new floating shelves for a client in SD ✅ We color matched the stain of their existing railings and furniture, which was a Dark Walnut color. The lumber is Alder wood which takes this stain very evenly. Our client was stoked on the transformation of their space and we were happy to be a part of that process!

The woodshop is closed, but we’re out here living the life. Officially brought onto the SSCo team this past April via a good ole marriage license. And now we’re honeymooning in the great Western Wilderness, exploring and getting in touch with our true selves. It’s remarkable how nature slows us down and brings us clarity in life. We’re super motivated and excited to jump into the next chapter of life and see what amazing things we can create. Stay tuned for our upcoming projects!

A month or so late on this congrats post, but better late than never! I’m beyond stoked for and , their wedding was epic and they looked absolutely stunning. I was honored to be in the wedding and gift them these ring boxes.

I’ll admit I was nervous to accept this project since I haven’t worked with epoxy before. asked me to preserve their wedding boutonnières in epoxy within a shelf that they could utilize on the daily to remind them of their special event. I told them I’d do my best and got to work right after the wedding!

My pouring mold wasn’t tight enough, so the epoxy drained out, the flowers floated to the top, I ran out of epoxy, and the sanding/chiseling took forever… but I pushed through all that and learned a ton in the process. And ended up with a truly awesome piece.

I really love getting the after photos when my customers/friends install their SSCo piece and tell me how stoked they are! Even better when they’re rocking a corduroy SSCo hat.
