Today the eagle has landed.
Lately I've had some unusual jobs. This custom totem was commissioned on Vancouver Island and the moose rack was obtained separately. I had to cut the racks off, drill each one for rods that was joined inside of the totem and make locating pins so they didn't rotate. A cross brace in the back then allowed for additional clamps and attachment to the house. Everything had to be assembled on the roof as it was all quite heavy. This now gaurdes and protects Northern Pacific Beach and S. La Jolla

This was a faux limestone casing that I just finished for an entryway. The painter will now add some “stone” detailing to complete it. I had to do the pie section cut outs to make the curve as whole section is on a slant and the curve is conical in shape

The upper speakers cabinet are now installed. For the last two days myself and a great crew from St Bartholomew's have lifted and installed the top 10ft sections of the speaker cabinets along with the mahogany cross grills. The original cabinets were 17ft high and this brings them to 27ft. All were lifted safely and attached to the walls along with the cover grills. For the cabinets, I converted the scissor lift into a forklift with 2/4's and we hung the grills with a series of rope slings. Finishing up, the Jesus corpus went back up after a summer cleaning.

Rhett Judice, a church designer sent me a drawing to build a tabernacle stand for St Bartholomew's church. Here is his original concept drawing, partial construction and the final piece installed. It was tricky to build as its basically a shadow box 20" deep.
