Progress! We’ve got paint, a door, a frame for a winch (long gone are the days🤞🏻of flipping massive live edge slabs on our own) and a whole lot of underground plumbing and electrical work that isn’t worthy of a photo.

To say we are proud of this guy, doesn’t quite do the feelings justice. Congratulations to our good buddy and budding woodworker, Max Schaller, on the completion of his Eagle Scout project for the children of The Church of RB! Max began this project with his Dad, Paul, and he finished it with Paul watching over him, no doubt with tremendous pride. We miss Paul so very much, and are so grateful to have a place in Max’s life to help keep Paul’s memory alive.

The walls are closing in …in a good way. Windows, some siding, and check out that framing for a shop bathroom - how bougie 🚽

We lost one of our closest friends this week, and our hearts are broken. Paul was one of a kind - lived to make everyone around him laugh. We feel so fortunate to have had 16 years with him, 16 years of memories we will cherish. Paul was a husband, father, Jet Blue pilot, and an officer in the Naval Reserve. He had a heart of gold, always willing to help others. Please see the link in the comments if you’d like to contribute to Max’s (Paul and Cory’s 16 year old son) college fund. Rest peacefully, Catbox.
