A beautifully detailed late 19th-century Onward cast iron parlor stove, No. 42, patented 1888. Produced during the golden era of ornate American stove design, this piece features graceful arched doors, lattice-pattern vents, and curved architectural lines inspired by Victorian parlor décor. The decorative finials and beaded trim remain intact, and the piece retains its original soot-darkened patina.
The matching cast-iron kettle (included) completes the scene—evoking hearth and home in an age when the stove was the centerpiece of family life. While not currently functional, this stove is a showstopper for any rustic interior, retail vignette, or historical display.
Condition: Untested for use. Displays surface rust, oxidation, and typical wear consistent with age; doors and vents open, hinges intact.

Origin: United States
Maker: Onward Stove Company
