How did this American Icon survive the fire in the Palisades. Been there many times. All the lost! All the history. All the families. The pets. The business's. Frightening. The Eames House! Often people comment because I rarely wear matching colors. I just smile! -century

Everyone has their take on interior style! This stunning 1960s Danish Modern recliner chair was a family piece! The client chooses a more traditional Vintage fabric with a mid-century flare. Upholstered on the opposite side. Unusual but looks fabulous. Biege folks! #

Crafted rocks. Before my surgery 8 weeks ago, Nancy, a first-time visitor to the marketplace, inquired about wanting to have a memory quilt made.
Showed her some of my artsy work. She came back with vintage t-shirts and incredible Hawaiian shirts. This was for her son who was expecting his first child. This was a milestone because two pregnancies were not successful.
She was patient. I just had surgery. The silk shirts were very thin. Only one cotton shirts. T shirts had photos pictured of her son.
All were 35 plus years old.
So let the adventure began.
Ironing, cutting, backing all with pellon. Parathyroid surgery seems simple. I could not swallow. Yougart, soft, soft foods. Accid Reflux was out of control.
Could not drive. My colleagues at Crafted were incredible.
No plan! I just liked the textiles, the photos on the t- shirts. Used the accuquilt to cut straight. Could not lift if. The ambassadors at crafted were a dream.
Consulted with # Shirley Carr and Barry both have stores at crated. Ladies from the San Pedro Art Association were simply delightful.Every Friday they have a painting class. As I cut, ironed, and planned. Berry
sewcute was a wealth of information and talent. I use vintage machines. She is a modern girl. A posh digital machine. What a whizard. A collaboration. pushing me forward. .
Takes a village!
Started sending photos to Nancy. She was over the moon. She started crying! I was pleased that she approved. I made a crib pillow for the baby. The memory quilt will hang on the wall. Memories. Her son was very surprised. His dad's shirts.
