Tip: California Native Plants
Fall is the preferred time to plant California native plants and right now is a great time to start!
What are the benefits of gardening with natives?
• Reduced water, pesticide and herbicide use and fewer chemicals in our water supply.
• Plants that are naturally adapted to our climate and soil conditions.
• Reduced time and energy in maintenance.
• Your own enjoyment. Natives attract native bees and birds.
