Knocking the rust off today with a new project. It’s been a while since I’ve actually made something out of wood. But I’m excited about this project.

This 3-day weekend allowed us to make some serious headway on our kitchen remodel. We ripped out our small pantry for our new 36” gas range. Not quite done but feeling good about where we stand so far.

Delivery day for my latest poplar coffee table. Measures 60” x 44”. Subtly tapered legs, round-over edge, custom stain color with matte clearcoat. Thanks for help on delivery.

My wife and I spent the weekend building a multi-level cubby lumber storage system. It’s just over 12 ft long and 28 inches wide. Now I can organize my lumber better.

I made these two tall planters for my parents front porch for Christmas. Made of pine and reclaimed siding from old bungalows torn down in New Orleans. Merry Christmas y’all.

Out with the old & tired kitchen island and in with a new shiplap cabinet with custom butcher block top I made from red oak.

Delivered this beauty today. Ash stained in special walnut with a matte wiping varnish clearcoat. New house and this is the first piece of furniture to be moved in. More pics to come when they’re settled.

Delivered! This custom poplar cabinet looks great in its new home. Glass doors will allow full connectivity to all the home entertainment electronics. I’m grateful my in-laws trusted me with such an important piece for their living room.
