When The Granite Place opened its doors in June 2005, we set our goal to be the premier supplier of stone products for the greater Sarasota area. We are proud to say that we have far surpassed that goal. With customers coming from all over Florida, we have earned a reputation for quality service and merchandise. We have worked hard to earn our clients’ trust by providing excellent customer service as well as supplying the best natural and engineered stone products available. We pride ourselves in keeping abreast of all the latest trends in home and commercial decorating, using quality stone products sourced in trade shows from Europe to Brazil, and personally selecting the materials we carry.

We are open to the public, located on Route 301 between 17th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Way. Our approximately 20,000 square foot warehouse features state-of-the-art lighting—the best light for viewing and examining natural stone. Additionally, we have a 10,000 square foot showroom that showcases the latest trends in stone use.

We carry the largest and finest selection of granite slabs in the greater Sarasota/Bradenton area. With over 2,000 slabs and more than 125 different colors and patterns, it’s no wonder we have become the number one place to come to when selecting natural stone products for your home or commercial project. We also offer a huge selection of marble and onyx.
