What a weekend in the Lowcountry!

Team Barker was fortunate enough to take home first place at the Release Marine John A. Peters Jr. Memorial TT Tarpon Tournament and cap off the weekend with an incredible Barker Boatworks Rendezvous on Daufuskie Island.

Thank you to everyone who fished, joined us on the island, and made it such a memorable weekend. We’re grateful for the friendships, the competition, and the opportunity to bring the Barker family together in one of our favorite places.

Congratulations to all of the tournament participants, and thank you to Release Marine for another first-class event. We can’t wait to do it again next year.

One of our favorite events of the year is coming back to the Lowcountry this weekend!

The Release Marine JAPTT Tarpon Tournament kicks off Wednesday, 7/29 and runs through Saturday, 8/1, bringing together some of the best anglers in the region to chase silver and celebrate the Lowcountry’s tarpon fishing tradition.

Then on Sunday, 8/2, we’ll wrap up the weekend with the Barker Boatworks Rendezvous at Freeport on Daufuskie Island for an awesome day on the water with the Barker family.

We’re looking forward to a great weekend in South Carolina and Georgia. See you there!
