Color is the fastest way to give a room a point of view, and olive-green velvet makes the case beautifully.

This loveseat reads like a neutral with nerve: saturated enough to command a room, earthy enough to play well with wood, brass, cream, and just about any blue. The velvet does the rest, catching the light so the color shifts from deep moss to golden through the day.
