As A Marine Corp Veteran, I Do Appreciate The Respect People Have In Their Hearts When They Say To Me,
"Thank You For Your Service."
HOWEVER,
Memorial Day
Is NOT For Me,
Or Any Other Veteran
Walking And Breathing.
IT IS FOR THE DEAD,
For The Families Who Never Got Their Son, Daughter, Husband Or Wife Back, Who Lost Their Lives
WHILE SERVING.
That Distinction
Deserves To Be Honored
And Remembered.

'Oh Holy Night,' and my outrageous summer electric bill.
Watching my two oldest granddaughters pass the baton to each other in the 4X4 Relay at the state track meet finals last weekend just got added to my list.
