Built for our home. Designed for the way WE live.

I’m sure you’re all tired of seeing post on our Semi-Custom series, so here it is. Our latest vanity build. There’s something special about bringing a vision to life, especially when it’s a project for your own home.

This custom master bathroom vanity was built from beautiful quarter-sawn red oak, featuring a rich, dark finish that brings out the natural character of the wood.

But there’s a lot more to this build than what meets the eye.

We designed this vanity to be deeper than your typical bathroom cabinetry, giving us additional countertop space and storage without sacrificing the look we wanted.

A few of our favorite details:
🔨 Custom-built inset doors and drawers
🌳 Quarter-sawn red oak with beautiful natural grain
✨ Soft-close Blum hardware throughout
💈 Dedicated pullout storage for hair appliances
📐 Thoughtful storage and cabinetry designed specifically for our space

From the first pieces of lumber to the final installation, every detail was an opportunity to create something that looks great and functions even better.

That’s what custom cabinetry is all about. Not making your space fit the cabinets, but building cabinets that fit your space.

Have a bathroom, kitchen, or cabinetry project in mind? We’d love to help bring it to life.

Our Semi-Custom Collection Introductory Specials are here! SAVE money while you can!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve shared the stories behind each of our five table designs. Now, we’re excited to share a little more about how this collection works!

So, what exactly is semi-custom?

Simply put, we’ve taken some of the guesswork out of custom furniture!

Each table starts with an established design, standard dimensions, and pine construction. By streamlining our building process, we’re able to offer more consistent, approachable pricing while maintaining the craftsmanship that goes into every piece.

Here’s where you make it your own!

🪵 Standard Size: 84” L × 40” W × 30” H

🪵 Wood Selection: Pine is our starting point, with hardwood upgrades available, including red oak, maple, white oak, and walnut.

The Legacy — Built for What We Leave Behind. 🪵

Over the past week, we’ve shared the stories behind our new Semi-Custom Furniture Collection.

From the grandfather who helped lay our foundation, to our children who inspire us, and the place we’re fortunate enough to call home.

But there’s one last table, and in a way, it brings everything together.

Meet The Legacy.

When we started Touch of Speis Customs, it wasn’t just about building furniture. It was about building something of our own, taking pride in our work, and hopefully creating something that lasts long after we’re gone.

And that’s exactly what inspired this design.

Bold, timeless, and built with future generations in mind.

The Legacy features a substantial hardwood top, sculpted double-pedestal base, and a traditional design meant to stand the test of time.

The Homestead — More Than Just a Place to Call Home. 🪵

So far, we’ve introduced a few of the people behind our Semi-Custom Collection. But this next table represents something a little different.

Meet The Homestead.

For us, home has always been more than just four walls. It’s where family gathers, memories are made, and more often than not, there’s another project waiting to be finished.

Our home and woodworking shop share the same property, and over the years, we’ve worked to build a place where family, work, and everyday life all come together.

And that’s exactly what inspired this design.

Strong, traditional, and made to be the centerpiece of a home.

The Homestead features substantial turned legs, traditional farmhouse styling, and a center stretcher tying the base together for a timeless, grounded appearance.

The Homestead | Starting at $3,695

🎉 Introductory Special: $3,395

Standard size: 84” × 40” × 30”

Available with different hardwoods, finishes, and customization options to make it your own.

The Mia — A Little Grace, A Lot of Personality. 🪵

We’ve shared the stories behind The Kip and The Oliver, and now it’s time to introduce another piece of our family.

Meet The Mia, named after our beautiful firstborn daughter.

There’s something special about having a little girl. The personality, the sweetness, the sass, and the way she can have everyone wrapped around her finger without even trying.

When designing a table with her name, we wanted something that reflected a little of that personality.

Elegant, full of character, and impossible to overlook.

The Mia features beautifully sculpted spindle legs, softer details, and a timeless design that brings a little elegance into any dining room.

The Mia | Starting at $3,495

🎉 Introductory Special: $3,195

Standard size: 80-84” × 40” × 30”

Available with different hardwoods, finishes, and customization options to make it your own.

A beautiful table, named after a little girl who makes our world a whole lot brighter.

“The Oliver,” — The Next Generation. 🪵

Yesterday, we shared the story behind “The Kip,” a table named after our grandfather and the man who helped lay the foundation for everything we’re building today.

So it only seems fitting that our next table is named after someone who carries a little piece of him.

Meet “The Oliver,” named after our firstborn son.

Oliver was named, in part, after his Pawpaw Kip. And while generations may come and go, the values, lessons, and memories they leave behind continue to shape our family.

That’s part of what makes this collection so special to us. These aren’t just names we picked for furniture. They’re pieces of our family’s story.

The Oliver features a classic turned-leg design with a timeless farmhouse appearance. Nothing overly complicated, just a beautiful, traditional table designed for years of family gatherings.

The Oliver | Starting at $3,195

🎉 Introductory Special: $2,895

Standard size: 80-84” × 40” × 30”

Available with different hardwoods, finishes, and customization options to make it your own.

From one generation to the next. Built with family in mind.

“The Kip,” — Where It All Began.

Of all the tables in our new Semi-Custom Collection, this one seemed like the right place to start.

Meet The Kip, named after our grandfather.

Grandpa was a lifelong farmer, a hardworking man, and someone who could fix just about anything. He believed in doing things yourself, working hard, and making the most of what you had.

A lot of who we are today came from him.

In fact, the very land our shop sits on today was given to us by our Pawpaw. So in more ways than one, he helped lay the foundation for what Touch of Speis Customs has become.

When it came time to design a table in his honor, we didn’t want anything fancy.

Just something simple, practical, and built to last. Much like the man himself.

The Kip features a clean farmhouse design, solid square legs, and a timeless look that feels right at home just about anywhere.

The Kip | Starting at $2,995

🎉 Introductory Special: $2,695

Standard size: 80-84” × 40” × 30”

Available with different hardwoods, finishes, and customization options to make it your own.

A simple table, named after a man who meant the world to us.

What if we could make handcrafted furniture a little more attainable???

We’ve been a little quiet since our recent competition build, but that project got us thinking more about our business, our local community, and how we can continue to grow.

Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to build some incredible custom pieces. And while we’re proud of every one of them, we also recognize that custom furniture comes with a price tag that isn’t always realistic for every family.

So we started asking ourselves how we could change that, without changing the quality of what we build.

And so we are proud to announce the creation of our first Furniture line! Our TOSC Semi-custom series!

Rather than designing every table from scratch, we’ve developed a collection of established designs, standard dimensions, and more streamlined building methods. This allows us to better control costs while still giving you something handcrafted, built with care, and made to last.

Each table starts with a standard size and pine construction, giving us a consistent starting price. From there, you’ll have the opportunity to make it your own with different hardwood species, finish colors, and other available options.

And there’s a little more meaning behind these tables than just their designs.

Some are named after our children, Oliver and Mia. Others represent the people, places, and values that have shaped our business from the beginning.

Because at the end of the day, we’re a family business. And there’s something pretty special about building furniture that will become part of Your family’s story!

Our fully custom work isn’t going anywhere. We’re simply creating another way for families in our community to bring handcrafted furniture into their homes.

Today we’re giving you a first look at a few of our designs, but there’s more to come!

Tomorrow we’ll be sharing all FIVE tables in the collection, along with how you can customize these tables to perfectly fit your home!

Over the following weeks, we’ll introduce each design individually, share the meaning behind its name, and dive into starting prices and introductory offers.

For now, we’d love to hear from you!

Which one catches your eye — The Oliver, The Mia, or The Legacy?

Thank you all for continuing to support our family, our business, and the next chapter of Touch of Speis Customs!

Much love,
The Speiser’s ❤️

Before there was Touch of Speis Customs, KinCraft Studio or a 3,000-square-foot shop, there was one dining table built beneath a single-car carport with about $200 worth of used DeWALT tools.

The Dining Table Build was mine—and I call it The Pioneer.

Years ago, Katie and I were living in our first home. She was in the military, money was tight and we needed a dining table. I had very little woodworking knowledge, so I bought some used tools on Facebook Marketplace, picked up construction lumber from Menards and figured it out as I went.

That first table wasn’t fine furniture. It had a stained plank top, straight X-shaped legs, visible fasteners and plenty of things I would build differently today.

But it was ours—and more importantly, it was a beginning.

That table led to another project. Then another tool. Then more mistakes, more lessons and eventually Touch of Speis Customs. Years later, it also helped lead Tanner and me to KinCraft Studio.

So when we decided to challenge each other, I didn’t want to build something random. I wanted to return to the piece that started everything and rebuild it using the craftsman I have become.

The Pioneer isn’t a replica of that first table. It’s its evolution.

The original dark plank top became a solid red-oak, Shaker-inspired top with framed panels and routed details. The basic X-legs became sculpted trestles with sweeping curved braces. The white base remained, but this time it received a layered, antiqued finish that gives it the character of something carrying a history.

The farmhouse roots are still there. The difference is in the experience, intention and craftsmanship earned between the two builds.

I named it The Pioneer because that first table went ahead of everything else. It was built before I had the right shop, the right tools or all the answers—and it unknowingly cleared the path for everything that followed.

The old table reminds me where we started.

The Pioneer shows how far we’ve come.

And hopefully, we’re still only getting started.
