Stripping a Duncan Phyfe dining table on this beautiful day!! What are you doing (or wish you could do) today?!

A local couple gifted me this rocking chair, but the bottom was pretty broken. I dismantled the bottom to inspect the damage, and as this was sitting on the ground, it got me thinking…I think this will make a fabulous in-ground planter! Has anyone used only the top half of a chair to do this? Show me your photos! I keep seeing a dahlia bundle, tulips or even something simple like sedum spilling through the seat’s hole which is flush with the ground 😂. Or maybe clematis to climb up the back?! I’ll be sure to secure it to the ground or a fence post because, well, it’s windy out here! Am I crazy?! 🤪

THANK YOU SO MUCH to all those who braved the wet weather this weekend to support all of the small businesses for Rural Road Trip! You have no idea how grateful we all are for you! I get so excited to see all the new and familiar faces from near and far. It’s always a joy to chat with you all (when I can) and find out your plans, where you’re from and what you’ve enjoyed. Finally, thank you so much for your purchases and support!! It warms my heart to see my furniture “babies” land in new, loving homes after all our time working together. THANK YOU!! ♥️ And a big thanks to the rural.road.trip crew for all your work and planning behind the scenes! 🖤

Hope to see you next on November 13 & 14th for the Holiday Edition!! 🎄🌲🎅

This cream is a wonderful option to use for nighttime relaxation, relief of muscle aches/cramps, insomnia, restless legs and even migraines. A small amount rubbed onto the soles of the feet at bedtime or back of the calves….or a “problem” area can help a variety of ailments. I’ve found the best response with regular use. This is vegan and made with natural, organic ingredients. 💜

Open Friday & Saturday 9/25 & 9/26 for Rural Road Trip from 9-5 both days!
