This Saturday, October 24 marks the final RRRASOC HHW Collection Event of 2026! Bring your household hazardous waste, electronic waste, clothing, and confidential papers for shredding to the truck entrance of the RRRASOC MRF, located at 20875 Mapleridge Avenue in Southfield, from 9am to 2pm to have it responsibly diverted from the landfill. You won’t want to miss it!

Today is International E-Waste Day! Electronic products such as computers, TVs, microwaves, cell phones, power tools, and more that are unwanted, unusable, or outdated are considered e-waste and need to be disposed of responsibly. Consider bringing it to the upcoming HHW Collection Event on October 24 at the RRRASOC MRF!

Yard waste collection dates and services vary by community, but one thing does stay the same: grass and leaves should be put in paper yard waste bags or trash cans labeled with a yard waste sticker. Get ready… HHW Collection events are returning in October! On Saturday, October 3rd, RRRASOC community members can bring their household hazardous waste, e-waste, and documents for shredding to the Novi Department of Public Works located at 26300 Lee BeGole Drive in Novi from 9am to 2pm.
