Sometimes your sofa doesn’t need replacing, it just needs some new pillows.

Pillows are one of the easiest ways to give a sofa or sectional a fresh look. Add a new color, bring in a fun pattern, or layer in more texture to change the whole feel of the room without a big makeover.

Design tip: When mixing patterns, vary the scale. Try one larger pattern with a smaller print, then add a solid or textured pillow to give your eye a place to rest. Pulling the same 2–3 colors through the mix will help everything feel connected without being too matchy.
