I WON GOLD. 🏆🥹🤍 BEST INTERIOR DESIGN COMPANY!

I’m not even sure I can put into words just how much this means to me, but I’m going to try my best❤️

Tonight, I had the honor of accepting GOLD for Best Interior Design Company in the 2026 Best of the Twin Counties, and I can honestly say this is one of those moments I’ll carry with me for a very long time!

For those who have followed my journey, you KNOW that my love for design goes so much deeper than just painting furniture or decorating a pretty room..

Interior design is truly something I am so passionate about. It’s the colors, the textures, the finishes, the lighting, the layout, and all those little details that most people might overlook. It’s being able to envision what something “could be”before anyone else can see it.. It’s taking an ordinary space and turning it into something that feels warm, inviting, timeless, and most importantly, like HOME.

Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to pour that passion into something incredibly personal — designing our forever home. 🏡🤍

From the interior to the exterior, I have carefully thought through every single detail. The paint colors, flooring, light fixtures, textures, cabinetry, architectural details, and the overall flow of our home. So many hours spent researching, planning, changing my mind (sometimes more than once 😂), and bringing together a vision I had for our home.

And to see it all slowly come to life has been ONE OF THE MOST rewarding experiences.

What makes this award even more meaningful is that interior design and furniture refinishing truly go hand in hand for me. Furniture refinishing is where I get to take something old, forgotten, or outdated and give it a completely new purpose. Interior design is where I get to bring all those elements together to create a space that tells a story.

And I absolutely LOVE every bit of BOTH.

I’ve spent years building PridgensFarmhouse with my own two hands. Learning, growing, pushing myself creatively, working long hours, and putting so much of my heart into every project that comes through my doors. I’m a one-woman business, and behind every finished piece, every design decision, and every beautiful reveal is someone who genuinely loves what she does.

To be recognized for something that comes so naturally from my heart is an honor I don’t take lightly.

But what means the most to me is knowing that this award came from YOU. My customers, my community, my friends, my family, and the people who have continued to believe in me and support this little dream of mine.

You took the time to vote for ME. For my work. For my passion. For a business I have poured so much of myself into.

And that means more than you’ll ever know. 🥹

I don’t have a big team behind me. It’s just me, my two hands, a whole lot of determination, and a love for making things beautiful.

This award may have my business name on it, but it’s because of every single one of YOU that I’m holding it.

Thank you for trusting me with your furniture, inviting my creativity into your homes, cheering me on, and allowing me to continue doing something that makes my heart so happy.

The end of an era. The closing of a chapter. And a full-circle moment I never saw coming. 🥹🤍

Yesterday, I said goodbye to my very first home..

And if those walls could talk… oh, the stories they could tell.

That little home was so much more than four walls and a roof. It was where I learned to stand on my own two feet. Where I cried some of my hardest tears, celebrated some of my biggest victories, and fought battles that nobody ever knew I was fighting.

It saw heartbreak. It saw disappointment. It saw the ugly parts of life that nobody prepares you for. It saw me at my lowest, when I was just trying to figure out who I was and where I belonged.

That home built me. Broke me. And somehow, built me all over again.

It was my safe place. My comfort. My independence. My proof that no matter what life threw at me, I could figure it out.

And then, somewhere along the way, that little house became the beginning of an entirely different chapter.

I got married. And instead of leaving my first home behind, I brought my husband into the life I had already worked so hard to build. We sold his home, stayed in mine, saved our money, and started dreaming about building our forever home together.

We had plans. Big ones.

But what I’ve learned over the years is that you can make all the plans in the world, and God can still have an entirely different story written for you.

Some of those plans fell apart in ways that hurt deeply. Promises were broken. Trust was lost. Money, time, and hard work were poured into a future we thought was ours, only to have it taken away. And some of the deepest hurt came from people I never imagined would be the ones to cause it.

There were moments I questioned everything.

But looking back now, I realize that sometimes God allows doors to close that we would have never had the strength to close ourselves.

And then, in the middle of unimaginable loss, another door opened.

After unexpectedly losing my husband’s grandparents, we were given the opportunity to make their home our forever home. A home already filled with generations of love, memories, and family history. A blessing born from heartbreak, and one we will never take for granted.

It wasn’t the plan we had drawn up. It wasn’t the road we expected to travel.

But it was the home God had planned for us all along.

And today, as I look around at the life my husband and I have built, I am overwhelmed with gratitude.

Not because everything came easy. Because it absolutely did NOT.

But because we did it. Together.

We worked. We sacrificed. We saved. We picked ourselves up when life knocked us down. We learned that not everyone who says they’re in your corner truly is. And we learned that sometimes the greatest peace comes from letting go of people, places, and plans you once thought you couldn’t live without.

I’m proud of my husband. I’m proud of us.

But I’m also really, really proud of the younger version of myself who bought that first little home. The girl who didn’t have everything figured out but was determined to make something of herself. The girl who kept going even when her heart was heavy.

I wish I could go back, hug her, and tell her, “Just wait until you see the life you’re going to build.” 🥹

And maybe the most beautiful part of all of this?

Yesterday, I handed those keys over to a young woman who reminded me so much of myself all those years ago.

Someone just starting out. Someone ready for her own independence, her own memories, her own story.

And I couldn’t help but see a younger version of myself standing right there.

I hope those walls give her the same comfort they gave me. I hope she fills that home with laughter, love, and memories she’ll carry forever. I hope she learns just how strong and capable she is. And I hope one day she looks back on that little house with the same gratitude I feel today.

Because sometimes a home isn’t just where you live.

Sometimes it’s where you become who you were always meant to be.

Yesterday, I didn’t just sell my first home. I closed a chapter that held some of the greatest lessons, deepest wounds, and most beautiful beginnings of my life.

And for the first time, I can look back at all of it — even the painful parts — and feel peace.

I don’t have everything I once thought I needed. But I have everything that truly matters.

A husband who stands beside me. A home filled with love. A thriving business I built from scratch, and A life we’ve worked hard for. And a peace that no amount of money could ever buy.

To the little house that raised the woman I am today… thank you. You served your purpose beautifully.

And to the next chapter… I’m already home. 🤍🏡

God’s plans will always be greater than our own.

💙 A little navy, a little natural wood, and a whole lot of CHARACTER! ✨

This custom transformation was all about creating the perfect balance of rich color, warmth, and timeless charm!

For this client, we wanted something that would make a statement while still complementing her bedroom. I carefully color-matched this gorgeous deep navy to the tones in her existing bedroom rug, creating a beautifully cohesive look.

But those drawers?! 😍 I brought the stunning chevron wood grain back to life with a fresh stain, allowing all that natural movement and character in the wood to shine through against the navy finish.

And because some details are simply too beautiful to replace, I salvaged and reused the original ornate hardware to preserve the piece’s vintage charm. 🤎

The result? A one-of-a-kind piece that blends old-world character with a fresh, sophisticated finish!

This is what I love most about custom refinishing — taking something you already own and transforming it into something that feels completely new, while keeping the details that make it special.

✨PFH went coastal this weekend all the way to North Topsail Beach! 🌊☀️ I could definitely get used to installs with a view like this!

This custom project was personally delivered and installed by me this weekend in its beautiful new beach home!

This was such a fun and special project to see completely come together — and this weekend I had the pleasure of personally delivering and installing everything in my client’s beautiful new beach home!

The dining table received a complete refresh, including refinishing the tabletop to bring back that beautiful, warm wood look while giving the entire piece a fresh, updated feel.

The dining chairs were given their own transformation with custom upholstery in a beautiful new fabric selected specifically for this space. New fabric can completely change the look of a chair, and I love how this one adds texture and softness while complementing the newly refinished table for their coastal decor in home!

And we didn’t stop there! 🤍 The bar stools were completely refinished and custom upholstered as well, coordinating them with the dining set so everything flows beautifully together in their new home.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is being able to customize the finish, fabric, colors and details to fit each client and their home rather than simply replacing good furniture. It truly makes each PFH project one of a kind. ✨ Each project is customized for the piece AND the home it’s going into.

And yes — Pridgensfarmhouse offers furniture pickup AND delivery as an additional service! I know transporting furniture can sometimes be the hardest part, so I’m happy to take care of that part for you too. From picking up your pieces, completing their transformation here at PFH, to personally delivering them safely back to you, I can help take care of the entire process. 🚚🤍

This set traveled from Pridgensfarmhouse to North Topsail Beach, and seeing everything finally in its new coastal home was the BEST finishing touch!

🍂 Happy first day of FALL! 🍂

My favorite season is officially here, so it feels like the perfect day to share a little fall around our home. 🤎

I’ve found myself doing things a little differently this year—foraging right here around our property and backyard and using what nature has already given me. I made my own magnolia wreaths, dried hydrangea stems from our backyard, gathered branches and brought all those beautiful earthy colors inside. And I think I love it even more because of that. 🥹🍁

There’s something so special about decorating your home with things you gathered and made with your own two hands. It doesn’t have to be perfect or expensive to make a home feel beautiful.

Just warm woods, dried stems, natural textures, a little creativity… and a whole lot of love for this home of ours. 🤎

And this is your PROOF that you don’t need pumpkins everywhere to make your home feel elevated for fall. ✨🤎🍂

✨ CLIENT FURNITURE REVEAL! ✨

Would you believe this is the SAME furniture?! 😍

My client had a beautiful, solid wood bedroom set that was still in great shape, but she was ready to say goodbye to the original orange-toned finish and dated hardware and give it a completely updated look.

For this transformation, I refinished the entire set in my PFH Exclusive Finish 🤎 — one of my absolute favorite finishes because it completely changes the tone of the wood while still allowing that beautiful grain and character, plus it’s a PFH complete CUSTOM design that I’ve created and perfected over my 15+ years of refinishing!

Then we finished everything off with new matte black hardware, which gave it just the right amount of contrast and really brought the whole look together. 🖤

Same furniture… but you’d never know it!

THIS is why I love what I do. Good, solid furniture doesn’t always need replacing. Sometimes it just needs a new vision. ✨
