First event 2000lb table. Today was delivery of this 14-foot live oak monstrosity. Lots of fun in the making, and I can't wait to see how it looks once everything is finished.

Conference table vibes.... This delivery was an interesting one...Temps dropping vastly on my last coats of finish, the cold rainstorm on the way to drop the table, and my poor son throwing up in the backseat just before arriving at my client's. There are days things don't seem to fall into place, but you just have to address the obstacles and push through. The table was successfully delivered and soon got a nice hot bath and bed after.

So many angles and small details to get this base right. If I'm off just a few degrees on any of my cuts, it won't work, things won't line up and the base won't function as it should. Just a few degrees over a long distance can throw a leg off course inches. This can be said about other aspects in life. Yes, they say don't sweat the small stuff and that may hold true in certain areas, but most things in life are a lot of small adjustments and steps to achieve something great. We may do this at work but can't forget to also do this at home. Thinking we're saving the day by doing a good job at work but neglecting the same attention to detail at home. Just a friendly reminder, don't forget to do the small things for your loved ones at home. Those little things will make all the difference in the long run🙌
