Sometimes it's hard to see what's special about a piece--especially when it's covered in 100 years of gooey dark brown varnish and dirt!
This 1920s radio cabinet  has the most stunning book matched veneer. I built the interior shelves with blue pine to complement the world map backboard.  the color is called deep sea, and it reads like the Mediterranean in the room--(the photos make it look purpleish, but it's navy.)
The interior construction of this cabinet is indestructible, which is why it looks this good at 100+ years. 🙏🏼❤️.

Strip it!
There's nothing to start a good revival like a full Klean stripping!
Citrus st*****rs are a goopy ineffective mess. A good stripper goes a long way.
