Is it too early to start seeds? Yeah, probably, but these delicate babies and new setup repurposing milk cartons is bringing me joy so that’s all that matters imo. May everyone be merry and enjoy a joyful whatever you’re celebrating 💚

Alley garden update: alley berries are thriving, tiered bucket garden hasn’t fallen over yet, 55G drums are camouflaged by burlap bags from , and alley asters are amazing. Unfortunately the luffa vine didn’t survive the freeze even with the row cover protecting most of it … hopefully at least of few of the luffas will be mature enough to harvest another year’s worth of compostable sponges.

These 5G buckets worked great to protect celery the last two days. Also, the reason I built extra tall raised garden beds is because these ducks love celery, too.
