Just a little look behind the scenes at both of our best employees 🤣 for better and worse they do exactly what we tell them. Smaller red one is working on a few chair seats while the big silver one is carving slots in the chair frame to receive tapered dowel legs. Meanwhile I was working on some solid cherry stair treads. All the things all the time.

Chairs and more chairs! Two sets went out this week with more in the hopper. First set is the original design, solid cherry, natural finish. Second set is a vertical slat version in solid hard maple. More to come soon
Any suggestions on additional designs??? Always looking to expand our options and make beautiful things!

Had to show some of the new process for making our vertical slat chair. So grateful we found and made a fixture for the cnc. No more messing with the other wimpy clamps that lift up the piece. Almost feels like cheating with the speed and repeatability lol
Built this solid sapele arched-top door by hand from start to finish. Every curve was shaped with intention, every joint cut to last. The grain in sapele has this depth that almost moves in the light, and shaping it into an arch felt like coaxing something natural into structure.
There’s something grounding about working with real wood like this. No shortcuts, no veneers, just time, tools, and patience turning raw material into something that will outlive me. Not to mention the opportunity in modern woodworking to use the Shaper was extremely satisfying.
This one’s ready to become part of someone’s home, but for a little while, it was just mine to build.
