IT IS NOT A NORMAL ELECTION
It is not a normal election when we are running against someone who is a pathological liar.

It is not a normal election when we are running against someone who has been convicted of 34 felonies.

It is not a normal election when our opponent is a convicted sexual abuser and, as a private businessman, was involved in 4,000 lawsuits -- indicating a total lack of trustworthiness.

But it’s even worse than that.

When Donald Trump claims that “nobody” showed up at a 10,000-person Harris-Walz rally in Michigan that was live-streamed and widely covered by the media, that it was all AI, and that Democrats cheat all of the time, there is a method to his madness.

Clearly, and dangerously, what Trump is doing is undermining American democracy and laying the groundwork for rejecting the election results if he loses.

If you can convince your supporters that thousands of people who attended a televised rally do not exist, it will not be hard to convince them that the election returns in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and elsewhere are “fake” and “fraudulent.”

It should be a secret to no one. Trump’s goal is to destroy faith in American institutions and the rule of law and move us toward an authoritarian society.

We will need to provide a headcount to the hotel shortly thereafter; so please, please get your tickets before then and remind your friends to get theirs. NO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER THAT.

• The last day to get your family name, business and/or friends into our Ad Book is midnight, August 30th. Why not submit your Ad online following the instructions at https://www.nw70reunion.org/ad-book-fillable-contract-instructions/ or send your payment, text, and pic to our PO Box shown at www.NW7071.org.

• We are creating a slide show made up of pics of you during your years at NW. You can also add a few of you down through the years. Let's limit the number of pics to 10 per person. Please submit your entries by email to [email protected].

Time is getting short folks so please firm up your plans by getting your tickets, ads and by reserving your room if you are coming from out of town.

Good morning Mates!

Just wanted to thank William Stanford Davis, Deborah Hermann and Lauren Ming for their generous donations to our reunion efforts. It is very much appreciated!

I also wanted to thanks those of you who made the Popcorn Fundraiser meeting yesterday. Though the attendance was sparse again, we will endeavor to move forward anyway, For those of you who were unable to attend but still wish to help out, I am attaching the presentation to this post. I would encourage you to read it and understand that is extremely easy to participate if you choose. You can also make donations using the DONATE button on our website's Home Page.. We are slowly creeping towards our financial goals but still need more of YOU to pitch in in one of the following ways...
