Hey everyone—welcome!

If you’re new here, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and share a little about what Oak + Walnut is all about.
I’m Ben, and this business is something I started alongside my family, right here in the St. Louis area. At the end of the day, that’s really what this is all about—family.

Like a lot of people, I didn’t set out thinking I’d start a furniture company. That being said, woodworking runs in my family, and I’ve always enjoyed building—figuring things out, and the creative process of turning wood into something real and meaningful.

Over time, that turned into something more: a desire to build pieces that actually matter for other people.

Because the truth is, some of the best moments in life happen around a table. Dinner with your family. Holidays. Conversations that turn into memories…

That’s what led to Oak + Walnut.
We build custom, solid wood furniture designed to last for generations—not just in durability, but in meaning. Pieces that become part of your home and your story.

One of the biggest frustrations I saw was how limited furniture can be today—standard sizes, lower-quality materials. That’s not how we approach things.
Every piece we build is:

• Built with intention and craftsmanship—no shortcuts

Whether it’s for your home or your business, our goal is simple: make it easy to get something that actually fits your space and lasts as long as you want to keep it there.

Beyond the furniture, there’s a bigger mission behind all of this.
Through something we’re building called the Furniture Foundation, a portion of our work goes toward giving back—helping provide tables for families and beds for kids who don’t have one. Because everyone deserves a place to gather, rest, and feel at home.
