Lois Conley, The Founder of The Griot Museum of Black History Reaches & Teaches the STL Community

Some people preserve history. Others build a place where generations can experience it. Lois Conley, founder of The Griot Museum of Black History, has spent decades making sure the stories, struggles, and contributions of African Americans are remembered and shared.

Founded in 1997 in St. Louis, The Griot is the city's first cultural institution dedicated exclusively to Black history and culture. Through historical exhibits, educational programs, and storytelling, Conley has created a space where our history is not only preserved but brought to life.

That's a legacy worth recognizing and supporting.

Made it out to the W**e & Food Holiday Festival, and I had a really good time! Good food, great vendors, the DJ was jamming, and I got to catch up with some familiar faces I hadn't seen in a while.
